Hunt Valley Horsepower - 2nd Anniversary Special Gathering - 3/29/14

FACEBOOK EVENT

The time has come for Hunt Valley Horsepower’s 2nd Anniversary Special Gathering!

Saturday, March 29
8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

"Show cars" can enter the coned area starting at 6:30 a.m. Arrive early!

Rain or Shine? - If Hunt Valley is experiencing inclement weather (steady rain, thunderstorms, etc.), the rain date is Saturday, April 5.

Location - Hunt Valley Towne Centre, right behind Joe's Crab Shack
50 Shawan Road
Cockeysville, MD

Directions - I-83 to Exit 20A (Shawan Road East); 1/2 mile to HVTC on the left; when on the grounds, show vehicles turn right at the main entrance and proceed toward Joe’s Crab Shack; spectator vehicles turn left at the main entrance and proceed toward Wegmans

Automobiles - If your car, truck or SUV is your passion, you're invited. All marques and all generations are invited to participate. You'll see classic, luxury and exotic cars and many classifications in between.

Parking - Show cars, trucks and SUVs park in the Joe's Crab Shack parking area. Spectator vehicles, including all motorcycles, park in the Wegmans parking area. (Motorcycles are not covered within the event insurance.)

Food & Drink - Caribou Coffee, Panera, Chick-fil-A and Wegmans will be open and there will be food and drink sales within our gathering area.

Safety and On-Site Demeanor Guidelines - We're approved guests of Greenberg Gibbons Commercial, the management team of Hunt Valley Towne Centre (HVTC). Be respectful guests. Maintaining safety and respect for our group as well as HVTC patrons and businesses are top priorities. Thank you for all of your positive efforts in the past and thank you in advance for your positive efforts at future gatherings.

On your way to and from Hunt Valley, please respect local speed limits and traffic laws. While on HVTC grounds, please abide by the posted speed limits (10 mph in the parking areas and 15 mph on the HVTC access loop) and respect all rights of way.

Our gathering location features long lanes between brackets of parking spaces and there may be open spans on the access road. While it may be tempting to hit the gas pedal, there are other participants – including their children – as well as HVTC patrons that may not be aware of a speeding vehicle approaching their path. Its about safety and respect for everyone on HVTC grounds and elsewhere.

Prohibited - Speeding, burnouts, exhaust sound displays, sound system displays, operation of remote-controlled aircraft that is unaffiliated with Hunt Valley Horsepower LLC and any activities that compromise the safety of persons, automobiles and property

Please understand that on-site sales promotion – such as the distribution of promotional flyers, display of promotional signs, products, etc. and vehicles adorned with promotions – that is not approved by Greenberg Gibbons Commercial is prohibited. Also, out of respect for our host, automobile sale signs and displays are not permitted. Feel free to list your personal automobile sale at horsepowering.com/classifieds.

Please deposit all refuse in appropriate containers throughout the site. Thank you in advance for adhering to these guidelines. Its all about making Hunt Valley Horsepower a safe and enjoyable place for everyone during our Saturday morning gatherings.

Closing Statement - In addition to our special events and our weekly gatherings, there are also cruises to regional enthusiast events throughout the region as well as community service opportunities.

Due to the forecasted high potential for morning rain for Saturday, March 29, the plan is to move forward with a standard gathering. In the event of the weather improving versus the present forecast, there will be the capacity to host hundreds of automobiles. In the event of inclement weather, surely, participation will be diminished but if your schedule is free, you are, as always, welcome to be part of the gathering.

The unique facets of a Special Gathering will be brought together for Saturday, April 5. Please plan accordingly and spread the word to your car club and enthusiast friends that are considering attending on either or both Saturday mornings. If your schedule works in your favor, we'll see you down the road!

For review...

Saturday, March 29 - Standard Gathering of Hunt Valley Horsepower [the gatherings go on rain or shine]

Saturday, April 5 - Special Gathering of Hunt Valley Horsepower [scheduled special appearances will now move - within their capacity - to this date]

The Event Page remains the same https://www.facebook.com/events/741077222576981/.

See you down the road!
