My GLK250 Bluetec will need Service A (10K miles) in a few months. Deliberating dealer versus independent shop..... Note, the cost will likely include the AddBlue, so that has to be factored in.

What price should I be quoted at both? There are several reputable indy shops in the MD suburbs of DC (Kensington, Silver Spring, maybe others).

I was impressed by EuroMotorcars service operation when I brought the GLK in for the free 5K tire rotation. But I think this first Service A is not much more than an oil change, and don't want to pay $$ needlessly.
