Snow in Maryland/DC Area?

I'm moving to Germantown, MD in July from Honolulu, HI and I was wondering if people are driving their RWD/AMG MBs during the winter months in the area? How much snow does the Maryland/DC/VA area get on average? Would winter tires be alright with my SLK55 AMG? Or would I be better off getting a dedicated winter vehicle with more ground clearance and AWD?

Thanks!

Winter tires would be fine. Just make sure to swap it back when Spring hits.
My winter tires has lasted me for almost 4 winters now.

This area is pretty quick to plow snow. Everything shuts down anyways when it snows; schools, private businesses, and even the government shuts down (making everyone work from home)
