How to Buy an American Specification Cars in GCC

For many People when they are purchasing American Used cars specially in Gcc countries like UAE , Oman , Qatar Bahrain and Saudi Arabia they have a weird thing on their minds that American cars are worthless to Purchase but this is just a myth. If you are purchasing a Second Hand used car then its best to Purchase an American used Car. American Toyota and Lexus are one of the best-selling used Cars in GCC. They come in various trim levels and have more options as compared to the same trim levels for GCC. The parts are easily available and you can enjoy a luxury drive with less to spend. For many buyers it’s important to understand the American Used Car Markets. Whenever you are Purchasing American Used car you should follow the following key points.

Steps to Follow before Purchasing American cars in GCC countries

Check the VIN Number
Always check the Vin Number of the Vehicle. You can check the Condition of your vehicle by putting Vin Number in CARFAX and AUTOCHECK reports. However this two sites charge the customers for the report but you can check the VIN for free also on dmv.org and nicb.org.

Checking the Title of the Car

By checking the VIN you can see is your car Accident Free. As many things can be seen on the report if it’s Accident free and Minor Accident then you can Purchase the Vehicle without any doubt. But if its Major Accident/ Structural Damage/ Total Loss/Air bag Deployed/ Flood Damage then it’s better not to purchase the vehicle.

Clean Title cars or sometimes Lien title cars are Accident Free Cars or Minor Accident cars . Lien Title is a car which is bought with a loan. So it’s always safe to purchase a Clean Title Car.

Rebuilt or Salvage Title cars are dangerous to buy. As these Cars are rebuild so it affects its Performance and can be bought very cheaply as compared to clean title cars. For example a Clean title Lexus LS 460 2007 model will cost you for 70,000AED but the same vehicle with salvage title will cost you 50,000AED.

Flood/Fire Title vehicles are also dangerous to purchase. As these cars are gone through floods there are chances of great amount of Rust in the car. The electrical wirings of the vehicles are changed to sell this car and the problem can reoccur. So it’s always better not to purchase this type of vehicles.

Market Value of Car
Normally the same car for suppose Lexus LS 400 with same Trim level can have a price difference which could be huge but it’s very important to know the market value of your car if some seller is asking too much or too low for the car you should know the reason behind not just the price.

The Seller selling for higher price might be selling you a car which is accident free with Clean Car fax history and the one selling you a cheaper car could be selling you a flood title car.

Mileage of the Car
American Used Cars especially Lexus and Toyota have a very good resale market. Mostly cars come in a High Mileage but seriously if you are purchasing a Toyota or Lexus You should be not worried as there engines are designed for more than 800,000 Miles. Always Purchase a Vehicle with a clean title so you can enjoy its Luxury and Performance. So Purchase an American Used Car and forgets all the myths that surrounds you not to buy it. I hope this article will increase your Knowledge about the American Used Car Market.
