Looking for a reputable shop in the Chicago area to have some work done. Any recommendations?

2005 E55 AMG; 2005 CLK 500 (sold)
check out rennology motor sports in Tinley Park. They do a good job and will work on your car until you are completely satisfied. Have had my CLK500 and E55 both there for mods. www.rennology.com

also check out Benztek. They are relatively new in the area, but only work on Benzos. www.benztekusa.com

2010 C300 4Matic Sport, black/black
I can't speak with authority, I'm new to Mercedes, with a 2010 C300 that's 2 years old with 12,000 miles, only. However, I took my car to Midwest Performance Cars at 1385 W. Lake near downtown Chicago for a recommended 2 year service. Yelp.com had favorable reviews for MPC. They told me by phone that a man who was a master mechanic with Mercedes would be working on my car.
All he did was change my oil and filter, inspect, and top up fluids, because he said that's all I need at 12,000 miles. Only 1/2 hour labor was included in the bill, and he was courteous, as were other shop employees, and also, I brought the car in before they opened, and it was ready for pickup at noon.
I have no other experiences with this shop, but so far, so good. I don't recall MPC washing the car after the work was performed, but I didn't care about that.
I live in an inner city condo building with several hundred apartments, and almost every neighbor with a Mercedes has complained about dealer service prices. I'd love to see responses from those owners who have found good service in the city from independent service facilities.

AMS performance in west chicago IL for tuning work they have 2 awd dynos and have recently invested 30+k in tuning software and training for MB. I recently had my ML63 custom dyno tuned by them. I used to have a evo with a built motor by them, and i have a GTR which they have dyno tuned. great shop.
