AMS performance enters the Mercedes World: An Introduction

First and foremost thank you for taking the time out to read this. AMS Performance is a forced induction specialist that opened its doors a little over 10 years ago. In that time we have made major advancements and developments in the forced induction field.

Some of our more recent endeavors include the ALPHA GT-R performance packages www.alphagtr.com where we have pioneered several parts, packages and even broken a few records along the way.

Below are some videos of ALPHA GT-R's in action

Enough with the GT-R though. The purpose of this thread is to announce our entrance into the Mercedes world. Just recently we picked up a new 2012 E63 AMG:

For those unfamiliar with AMS and what we do please allow me to give you a brief breakdown.

Unlike other tuning shops AMS is full service tuning facility and Part manufacturer. Just about every part that bears the AMS or ALPHA name is made right here in house at AMS.

We have a team of 30 highly skilled industry professionals. The best of the best in the industry!

Our in house engineering department is state of the art. We have the equipment to go from concept to design to finished part all inside these walls.

Below is sample of our GT-R turbo kit during the design process:

From Cad design using our CMM Arm

To Rapid prototype using our 3D printer:

To first casted samples:

And finally to finished product:

We pride ourselves on OEM quality, fit and finish. We believe a product should fit just as well or better than the stock component you are taking off...after all if you are upgrading shouldn't you upgrade ALL attributes of the component.

When it comes to tuning we have you covered too. We not only offer tuning solutions for just about every car but we also do it all under our roof. We have two full time calibration specialists and two AWD dyno's allowing us to accommodate just about any customers need.

We really are a ONE stop shop for ANY of your performance needs.

So please stay tuned as we start developing performance packages for the 5.5L Twin Turbo Mercedes platforms and others.

Thank you again for taking the time to read and for considering AMS Performance.

Thank you again everyone for the very warm welcome.

We actually just put our E63 on one of our dynos (Dynojet) and it put down a very impressive 460whp.

Our car is a non performance pack car (we can take care of that) and it does indeed have the factory LSD.

I will keep you posted. We are still developing the GT-R, R8 and 997 so our guys are pretty busy back there but the Mercedes will get plenty of attention.

As far as tuning currently we do all our tuning in house... and I do mean in house. We spent a LOT of money and time to be able to do all software reprogramming right inside these walls. So when you buy an AMS tune you are not getting another tune resold with some other companies name on it. This is a tune written in house by the same guys responsible for writing the files for 1500hp cars.

Thank you again for the VERY warm welcome!
