The Purdue Automotive Performance Association is holding a private track day. We're one of the main car enthusiast clubs on Purdue's (West Lafayette) campus and we're trying to hold a track day.

Since we're mostly students, we're trying to break even on this track day in order to keep prices down for everyone. We would like to keep numbers low enough where we can all have fun on the track and not worrying about traffic.

I'm here to see if anyone would be interested to go on April 4th!

Track Day Signup:
Please read this and then signup. We must reach 28 signups by February 24th to make this event possible.

When:
April 4th at Gingerman Raceway

Cost:
FULL - $200.
DEPOSIT - $100 due February 24th.
Payment can be made with cash or PayPal. You must factor in extra PayPal fees if you choose that method. Actual price will be determined when rest of payment is due. Full payment is due on March 31st.

Format:
Your car will be teched by a PAPA member. Track goes hot at 8:30. Drivers meeting will be at 8:00. Event schedule will be released later. Sessions will be about 20 minutes each and total track time of about 2 hours. There will be 3 classes. Two novice classes and one intermediate class. People deemed in the intermediate class have the option to run in a novice class instead.

Rules:
Passing - There is no passing in the turns. You can only pass another moving car on the track with a point by. Passing car must go offline to pass.
Front windows must be open on track.

Safety:
- 5 track approved/sourced corner workers
- EMTs on site
- Race control

Amenities:
- Instructors
- Beverages
- Garage bay and tools to work on your car

- Will there be instructors?
Yes there will be instructors for those who require them.

- What if i am a PAPA member and my friend wants to sign up.
Contact Neil Amin to sign up. You will be responsible for your friend’s payment.

- What if I crash my car on the track/ damage the track?
You will be responsible for any damaged occurred to your car and the track. You will be billed for track damages. If you are worried about this cost or stand to lose a large amount of money if your car was damaged, buy track insurance.
