vinyl graphics shop in chicago
Wanted to color key the chrome trim on my cl65 and was wondering if there are any good vinyl shops forum members have used here in the chicagoland area. Let me kno your recommendations please

I have been a loyal customer of X-treme Graphics in Lombard for over 10 years. Steve, the owner is an awesome guy and does great work. However, my most recent experience was less than desirable. They did a terrible job on wrapping the chrome window/trunk trim with the vinyl. The inside corner of the trim was not fully covered exposing the edge of the window trim, and I also found a scratch (probably happened during the cut). In all fairness, Steve did not do the job himself, but it was done by someone else in the shop. I brought this up to Steve's attention and sadly nothing came out of it.
Anyhow, if you want to give them a try give Steve a call. Just make sure Steve does the work and not some novice apprentice.
If you are pretty savy, you can also try doing it yourself. You can buy the vinyl online that is already precut for the window trim. I'll probably do this myself come spring/summer time and redo it.

Thanks for suggestion silvers and sorry to hear about your car. I had heard of xtreme graphics since when they were sharing space on north Ave in villa park. Surprised they didn't at least redo the side where you could see the chrome.
