I just picked up am 09 c63 amg and live in Brownsburg. I am looking for a tuner in town if you know of one.

 

That car is just gorgeous man!! I ordered my tune from OE Tuning out of Cali. They treat you right! Have you found anyone to work on that car up there? I've got a guy down in Bloomington but he sometimes frowns on MB.

 

Thanks. It is an 09 with 84k miles. Believe it or not, I am still trying to figure out what all performance mods it has on it. I know it has headers, but other than that I think it is mostly stock. The previous owner did not have much detail around brands.
Other mods are:
19" wheels
carbon fiber hood, chin spoiler wrapped in black vinyl.
Vinyl wrapped exterior trim.
black exhaust tips.

Still researching options for a tune and/or dyno shop. There are a few good options, but nothing solid yet. There are a few guys at work that recommended a shop on the northside for normal maintenance work. He said they are about a 1/3 of the price and very good. If needed, I can shoot you over the name when I get it.

 

Yea do that! I'd like to know who it is. Eurocharged has a shop in Cincy with a dyno I believe. I thought about having them install LTH for me....

FYI. talked with Graham Rahal Performance and they seem like a solid shop around the corner from my house in Brownsburg. They have worked on several MB's and other imports. They have a full shop with a dyno.

I do know their hourly rate is $140.

They also have a cars and coffee event coming up at the end of March. I will probably check it out.

Hood is getting painted. Should have my car back by the weekend and will put in the ROW airboxes then. Outside of a dyno and possible tune. I am done for a while.

 

The cars and coffee event was good despite the rain. There were only a couple of MB's out there, but about 150 cars in all. There is another this Saturday on the northside of Indy. I will be there if you want to join.

 

Not to dig up a dead thread but.....find a good tuner in Indy? I'm looking at possibly getting a 2015 E63 soon and trying to plan ahead.

 

I have been impressed with Graham Rahal Performance in Brownsburg. Although I have not have them tune yet, I have inquired about it. They will use the Weistec base tune and dial it in on their dyno. Maybe we can get a discount if we get the tune at the same time.

My car will be going their tomorrow for a little maintenance.

 

Going to look at the car Friday or Saturday, whenever I get the time. Graham is a great guy, sure the shop is too. I know a few guys who use them for their cars. I'll check with them too.

 

Let me know if you find another good shop. There have been a few amg at the local cars and coffee events around town including a white e63 wagon.
