Toledo Repair Recommendation
A few weeks a fuel line failed on my ’98 CLK while I was in Toledo for work. Being from out of town and not knowing any shops in the area I had it towed to a local MB dealer for diagnostics and a repair estimate.
Short version. Estimate came in and is more that I think it should be – for instance, I can get the same parts from mbusa.com for $500 less than I’m being quoted - so I’m hoping someone can recommend a solid indy shop in the area I could have it towed to for the repair.
Longer version. Normally this is a job I’d do myself and I’d prefer to trailer it home, but when the line failed I had to push the car off the road and ruptured my Achilles, so can’t drive for at least another 5-6 weeks, and bc of the fuel leak I can’t find a transport company that will touch it.
