Differences between Original Mercedes Multiplexer and Cloned Multiplexer
Hello everybody,
I´m working on a project for a Bus Company which has lot of Mercedes Buses in its fleet. I have bought a complete diagnosis kit not original, but cloned. When I test it, putting this multiplexer on the original Mercedes system which this company has, it doesn´t work. So, my question is, Are original and cloned multiplexer exactly equal? Or, on the contrary, are they incompatible?
Can´t I use an original Mercedes Multiplexer in a system installed on a normal laptop, (connecting it with a 19 PIN-RS232 cable)?
Anybody has proffesional experience using this system on Buses? Can you do exactly the same readings and setting of parameters with a non-original system than with an original one?
Anybody has any manual or specifications of Actia emclosed PC,s? What ports they use? Could I skip some Mercedes limitations to manipulate their software or configure something?
And the last one question, Anybody has running succesfully one of this chinese hdd, prepared with all the software for a IBM t23-t30, in a virtual machine running in a normal laptop?
