The reason why Brabus is so exspensive is that once they tune your car you void the factory warranty. They will pick up the balance of your factory warranty thus the reason for the high prices. Just some fyi they recently fitted a E class with a twin turbo v-12 that went 217mph and even more recent fitted the same motor in a cls and bumped up the hp and went 225+mph. Has anyone seen those type of numbers from kleemann or renntech?

Would paying MSRP for getting one of the first ML63's seem fair considering the desireability? Just wondering how folks feel the market will recieve them. I look at the Jeep SRT-8 selling like hotcakes above MSRP, so I wonder if the ML63 will get a similar reception.

............there are very few reasons if any to choose the ML63 over the jeep SRT8. I just don't see the ML63 generating the same buzz as the SRT8.

If my dealer tries that **** with me he will be loosing a steady customer. I don't think he will. I have no problem paying MSRP and I doubt that a vehicle as rare as an AMG will be discounted. Especially a factory ordered one.

I totally disagree, just MHO. The Jeep does nothing for me, but that is just me.

............not a problem. I too prefer the Ml63. Having said that, there are really no significant objective reasons to prefer the ML63. Not in acceleration, not in handling, not in price. Ultimatively subjective fealings rule the day, and I understand that.

Just received the 2007 order guide for ML63 AMG
My dealer just faxed me a copy of the MY07 M-Class Dealer Ordering Guide. It lists the ML63 AMG and it shows a planned release date of August/September. It comes standard with Nappa Leather w/Burl walnut, roof rails and privacy glass, CD changer, AMG 20" alloy wheels, High performance tires, Multi-contour seats, running boards, heated front seats, cargo cover, rear side air bags, active head restraints, AMG bodywork, AMG sport steering wheel, AMG quad exhaust and Nappa leather dashboard. Plus you get the contents of all three option packages shown below. I also show the price of each package for the other ML models.

P1 Package: Electric sunroof, rain sensing wipers, power lift gate, harmon/kardon Logic 7 system, Sirius satellite radio, hands free communication system, Teleaid & Homelink - $3500 ML350/ML320, $2800 ML500

P2 Package: Includes P1, plus DVD navigation, Auto-dimming mirror, power folding mirrors, rear-view camera, power steering column and memory seat function - $6500 ML350/ML320, $5800 ML500

P3 Package: Includes P1 & P2, plus Air suspension, Active damping shocks, parameter steering, 3-zone climate control, infared glass, rear seat controls, cargo management system, cargo net - $9000 ML350/ML320, $8675 ML500

There are four other Code packages (1) Exterior appearance (2) AMG Sport (3) Rear seat entertainment (4) Heating package

Then, there about 17 stand alone options.

With all the standard goodies, I guess the rumored $80,000 base price for the ML63 is probably true.

No base prices are shown for any model on the order guide.

So are you getting a discount or planning on paying MSRP? Just curious, because I will be placing my deposit this week.

I will never pay above MSRP. As for the actual price, I will have to wait on that.
