I best like Alpine Rain as the color. Being different than most of the other MLs out there just comes along with it, like an added attraction. I'm not getting it to be different, I JUST HAPPEN TO LIKE THAT FAKKIN COLOR BETTER OK?

I need a price!
This waiting for a price is killing me. I don't know whether to wait for the base price only to find it too high for the vehicle (>$77K) or pick-up a 2006 E55 while they are going cheap. I'm having Benz withdrawl as I haven't had my CLS since last July. I lease a C230K for my sales manager and when I drove it recently it put the monkey on my back again. I did a comparative of a ML500 verse ML63 at MB Deutchland and using simple ratios the ML63 should cost $73K+ base. I know that this seems low from other speculation but then again it has less of alot of the upgraded stuff (wood, leather, etc) that the typical amg has over a base vehicle. Like a C350 vs C55. I leaning toward the devil I know (E55).

At $80K+ some options it's definitely a no go. I just pick-up a 2006 E55 at MSRP-$8000. The Edmunds first drive of the ML portrays a fun vehicle but not much more than the standard ML with more horses and a little dressed up. I will definitely follow through if it's numbers are right but it would be hard to walk away from all the comfort and performance of an E55 for only a different grunt and all-wheel drive in a some what sloppier platform. Good luck with the Pepper!
