No Distronic in Canada?
My ML63 arrives on Friday the 22nd. It appears that no-one knows how long it will take to actually get to the dealer from the train auto yard. At best 3 days to 2 weeks. In Canada the vehicle comes with Nav, Bi zenon, parktronic, etc for $96,800 Cdn. The only optional equipment listed is trailer hitch, keyless go, linguatronic,rear seat entertainment, keyless go and climate comfort seats. Taking them all bumps it up to just under $105,000 Cdn. ($91,000 US).There are a couple items under accessories like i-pod and 5 spoke wheels. MB pricing seems favorable to Canada!
There is no mention of Distronic
in any of the MB canada site for the ML that I can find. I will sure miss it if that is the case as even the old FX has a decent version of distronic. Does anyone know if distronic is in the ML63 in Canada? I guess I'll find out soon enough.

I don't think they have that option in Canada, at least i didn't see that option when I order my ML. I still have to wait till 07' March to get my ML...envy you.
There is one thing I like to ask, is there satellite radio available in Canada's Mercedes at all? The sales told me it is not available, and I couldnot found it on the web site either, but satellite radio is available for the Canada Chrysler's car as a option.
It just doesnot make any sense to me, it's not available in mercedes but it is for chrysler....

Distronic isn't available in Canada. I too had an FX45 and found the laser-guided cruise control (which I assume is the same idea as Distronic) to be just too sensitive for driving on the freeway, even at its lowest setting. The sudden change of speed when someone cuts in front of you could get you rear-ended!
As to the satelite, I was told that the package would be available in the spring but I never quite understood why it wasn't included.
