MBUSA STAR bulletin for E63 engine...
DTB T-B-05.20/21 JAN07 Sporadically occurring noise on engine start in area of the chain drive; 164.177 M156 engine (E63 AMG) up to serial # 60 001177.
When starting a warm engine, this may be due to the intake camshaft adjusters. To remedy both intake camshafts and intake camshaft adjusters will be replaced.
Camshaft adjuster repair kit part # A156 050 31 47

Thanks for posting it up, I will check with my SA next week about that. So far my truck is fine, hopefully it will be for the rest of my ownership. (Knock On Wood.)
Just checked my VIN, which is way pass the number you had posted in CLS55/63 AMG section, so I guess I am good.
