any one else had..
a problem with the auto tail gate opening by itself when the car is locked up & left by itself? Happend to me twice now!
Only had the car for the past week! MB assistance on their way now to check it out..

It's happend to me several times, but I figured it out that it always happened after I had leaned against something in the house...
I had accidentally bumped the button on my key while in my pocket activating the hatch.

Any how (to be sure) Mercedes have agreed to change the entire auto lift
They think it MIGHT be a problem with the wiring?

Unlike Porsche's keys, MB's keys are pretty safe in regards to accidently pressing unwanted buttons, it's not foolproof and accident do happens.
I think in ManU's case there really might be a fault/short in the wiring. I had the same thing before in my 745i and BMW did changed out the wiring harness and the control board for the trunk unit.

it a strange one, MB have changed the wiring but they said that they could find no fault with it
To activate the door accidently you need to press the button twice. Maybe I've got a ghost
