Love my Sprint Booster!

I got my Sprint Booster today and couldn't wait to install it. When I began I was a little concerned because the gas pedal anchor bolts were located differently than in the C-Class Mercedes sedan pictures I had seen. But after removing the three star screws that hold the lower trim panel in place it became easy to see the two 13mm nuts that hold the pedal in place. After removing them, you lift the pedal upwards and it lifts right out. It was a little tough to disconnect the factory side of the plug. But once that was done it was a snap! Simply connect both sides of the S.B. and reconnect the bolts and screws, and you're done. Maybe 20-30 minutes.

My after-install test drive was a blast! I know it gives no increase in HP or TQ, but it feels so much more spirited! A slight pressure on the pedal and it's quicker but still managable. A quarter pressure on the pedal and WHAM! you are rocketing forward. There's no slight hesitation as before to jump right into the powerband! The power has always been there but it's just accessed more quickly through less pedal travel and faster throttle response.

It was quick, simple and easily reversible. A great easy upgrade. If anyone's interested I'll post some picts of the install

is it cost this money 300$ just for faster response?i mean does ml63 need this mod?
\one guy in forum write that this is unuseless for e55....

I'm not trying to sell the product. I'm just saying how happy I am with it so far. I would never recomend this type of device on an E55 since with all the torque the E55 is tough to keep traction to the road as it is. Maybe an E63 since the torque comes in later in the powerband...maybe...
But with an all wheel drive ML63, traction is not a problem. Sadly I don't live near any major tuning shops, and since I'm leasing this rig, I wouldn't want to chip it anyhow. (I'd just have to re-tune it to stock at turn in)

Having only driven it a short distance since installation, I'm really happy with it so far. But we'll see how it holds up for the long term. For $300 bucks it's a fun device that almost anyone can install themselves. I like the fact that I don't have to floor the pedal to get head snapping acceleration!

Most definatly! It ramps up the throttle response to where it should have been all along!
