ML63 out of gas??
I am a new ML63 owner x 1 month, love it!
BUT, today, was driving, no problems. I had 1/8 tank left, the low fuel indicator was on, and the Range indicated 46km (live in Canada).
Next thing I know, the car sputtered and stalled. Would start for a second or two, then stall again, even with depressing gas pedal.
It sounded to me like I was out of gas.
I eventually was able to fill the tank with about 5 litres or so, and upon starting the car and giving some gas (to pump some fuel through) the car ran fine. The range indicated 54km after filling this amount in I popped into nearest gas station, filled the tank (91 litres), and everything ran well. I understand the tank capacity is 95 L with 13L reserve.
So, I basically ran out of gas. Very embarrassing.
Yes, maybe I just underestimated how much gas was left, BUT the fuel gauage was at 1/8 and range was not zero!
Something doesn't make sense, it terms of have 1/8 tank left and range indicating 46km. Is my gauge off?
Also, if my tank was near empty, shouldn't I be able to fill 108L (95+13)?
