that's one fast suv. I looked into getting one about 6 months ago but considering the turbo is mounted under the car after the headers, you can't go through even 4 inches of water without flooding the *****... otherwise its disgustingly fast.

I think its also a stock tranny and rear end. They say they are not worried about it because the did hundreds of full throttle launches in development. That would last me 3 months or so. So I guess it you can afford a tranny and rear end every 3 months its a great deal!

Yep, there's a picture of that turbo in one of my car mags (Car and Driver) - that Turbo does not even have a metal hoop or guard at all, it's one of the lowest points on the car. One blast over a speed bump is ALL is would take...

Ultra high HP tuner cars are just too tempermental. I know my ML63 is more expensive and slower but it's been carefree as well...

Plus the quality of materials in the cabin is excellent, compared to the base plastic look of the Jeep.

I love fast! But I also love not having to worry too much about it holding together...

But no denying... That's one damn fast SUV!

I don't know why Mercedes and AMG did not put the V12 twin turbo engine in the ML? It will instantly get 604HP and 734TQ from factory.

And of course, with that kind of power and torque, NO SUV in the planet will beat that car...!!
