time from production to delivery

2008 ML63
time from production to delivery
my ML63 entered production this Monday (Aug 13). Does any one know how long it takes to build and how long it takes to arrive at a dealer in the NE (Boston)? Thanks!!

I had to pick my options and colors middle of August 06. It was then locked in. Delivery was the last week of December 06. I'm not sure if thats the same as entering production or not.

I don't know if this helps but I made an enquiry about the ML63 over here in the Uk. I was told it tales longer than a regular ML because the base car is built in the states and then shipped to the AMG workshop in germany to be finished. in your case it will then have to be shipped back to the states after AMG have finished with it. So theres probabbly an extra month just based on the time the car spends on the ship (back and forth) plus whatever time AMG spends to finish the car. I'd hazard a guess at 2 months extra on a regular ML
