Reliability? Please help a potential owner!
Hi guys, Can any one of you ml55 owners tell me about the reliability of your rides? I am looking into buying a 2001 example. I am also a student, so large expenses are very unwelcome. Thanks!!!

Well I've had mine for 4yrs and put @$12,000 into it, 75% of that in repairs, but some other owners have been trouble free. They are very expensive to maintain as a daily driver. I love it though!
PLEASE!!! Have it checked out by a reputable Mech before you buy and get a warranty if you can. Good Luck!

Mine has been relatively problem free in almost 90k miles but as others have said... if you arent ready for the possibility of big bills... Its not the car for you

expect large expenses if you are out of warranty, since something always goes wrong. If you're a student, you're better off with a used B class still under warranty. That way repairs will be close to zero and your depreciation will be minimal. when you graduate, get a great car of your choice
