my engine light lit up at around 10000km, so I bring it to the dealer to see whats wrong with it, they told me it's the faulty engine air pump, they say they will fix it for free under the warranty.

the timeline goes like this....
I start to notice the car drives sluggish, it was around maybe 2000-3000km, it rarely happened so i didnot call the dealer. and then when it's around 7000-8000 km, it happens more and more often, especially when cold start. I can feel the whole car shacking. I thought it was the cold weather(toronto, canada), so I just ignore it, I just don't want to waste time at the dealer.
so at around 9k, the engine light came up three time, but 1 mins later, it went off, until around 10k km, the light just never go off again, so then I brought it to the dealer...

I don't know too much about cars, they just told me it's the air pump, the car is totally fix now, I read my invoice, it also gave me a transmission software update.

It drives really smooth now, no problem at all..

so anyone has this problem??
I ask the dealer if every ml has this problem, he said "no, it only happened to about 2 % of all ml" and then I forgot the deatail conversation, basically he told me that the AMG ML sold only 1:50 of all ML. I wasn't thinking to much at the time, I just want to drive away. Now I think about it, did he meant every ML AMG has faulty air pump??

so guys, did you expericed what I was experiencing? Do your car drives smoothly with no problem?

I had to replace my Air Ride compressor a little while back. Beast runs great, even in snow.
