Steering Wheel........

Just picked up my new ML63 today.I will try to post pictures as soon as I get a chance.I am thrilled but one little issue has arisen.Driving home I noticed the steering wheel is not perfectly centered and is a little left of center. Is this easy for the dealer to remedy or am I opening pandoras box.Alignment seems fine because the car does not pull either way; it is just the steering wheel that is not centered correctly and it bugs me.

Me Too!

I have the same problem since they replaced my wheel on the ML... just slightly to the left.

Drives me crazy as well so I know just what you mean.

I'm also wondering if it's worth fixing cause I'm not too fond of going to the dealer for "who knows who" to work on my car.

I read in another thread that the wheels can only be placed in a keyed position so they can't be out of allignnment, but I still think mine's a little off and now that I see your post I have renewed doubts.

I'll be following your thread to see what develops. Thanks

they will have to center the steering wheel and make the wheels alignment, it´s easy.

If the wheels are aligned you can't just adjust the steering wheel to the right alittle or do you have to go thru the whole alignment process?

You have to go thru whole alignment. They must start by centering the steering wheel and adjust the front wheels to the left. probably they will just work the front.
