V1 Hardwire - I need a 12v switched wire

V1 Hardwire - I need a 12v switched wire
I want to hardwire my V1 into my '08 ML63. I've taken off the console/cover of the overhead and found many wires, of which I figured out what many of them are for. However, regardless of which wires I've tried, I can't seem to find one that will power the V1, much less one that is switched.
Can anyone help me out finding an appropriate wire to tap into for this?

Go buy a test light, turn the power on and off. It is usually a much thicker red wire that is used for "power". Your best bet is finding the cig lighter or other accessory.
