^^^Sounds terrible! Did you end up getting the X5?

All makes seem to have their share of issues, especially the good ones. ...you have to pay to play; sad but true.

I did. Still have the ML63. Its sitting in the garage for another few months. Picked up a X5 4.8. Its nice. Did a swap a lease, no money down, etc, etc. Needed something for the next year till the MB issue is over. So, we'll see what happens. So far the X5 is nice. I like it. Ride is completely different. But its a nice SAV.

I have a corporate lawyer who handles all of our legal matters. We already have a case pending with MBUSA. One thing I've learned over the years is patience is an extreme virtue and luxury. Nothing happens overnight.

2007 ML63 AMG issues

Good grief! You guys seem to be out to see how fast you can destroy a good machine. Mine is a 2007 ML63 AMG, now with over 104,000 miles on it. It's always been serviced properly and been taken care of. In the last 6 months I have driven it over 4,000 miles with not even a hint of a problem. I did not have to ad any oil, the tires look the same and when I last checked I had driven 4,232 miles and used a total of 258.9 gallons of fuel. This comes out to having averaged 16.35 mpg! My enjoyment is in knowing what a marvelous machine it is and what it was designed for and able to do. But now it is retired, a collector's item, still in perfect condition inside and out. Something to show, to brag about and be proud of. There is a great write-up bout this engine on the AMG web site: "6.3-liter V8 - The new AMG V8 power unit". It is really worth reading. It might even make you treat this vehicle with a little reverence and respect. :-)

Ran across this post and felt I had to offer my .02 for what it's worth..I know this is 166 territory but my '13 has been stellar..sneaky fast power, ultimate comfort, precise handling and 100% reliable...maybe you need to look to a newer model...like this
