Just about finished modding my ML63, just waiting to do long tube headers and Brembo GT braking package. Dropped the car 20mm wth Carlsson ELM. With the ride-height drop, the HRE M50 wheels fill out the arches pretty well i think

The only thing I don't like, is the mud flaps. A little too long for me. But the car is beautiful. I was gonna buy black, but opted for silver instead.

Maverick you going to get rid of your old brakes?
If you are, I'd be interested depending on the price. Lemme know!

Maverick... The ML looks AWESOME! That's just what I was looking for. Great job. Where did you mount the lowering control module?

Well installed in Australia it is $10700 for front and rears. Check out GMP website for US price quotes. That is for the Gran Taurismo set (405mm disks on front - yikes)

I agree totally, the flaps mar the lines of the car and look dreadful, not sure what to do about it though

I'll give it some thought, thanks for your interest

Thanks for compliment. The device is literally a plug and play box that is plugged into the control box under the front passenger foot well. Takes 10 minutes (although i had a professional mechanic who specialises in European cars do it). There is actually an installation video on the Carlsson website ou can watch and it also comes with instructions.

To reiterate, the car handles corners at speed very very nicely with no body roll vs stock. I drive in SPORT suspension mode all the time which maybe too stiff for some but when i have passengers i just put it into COMFORT. After driving my C63 i just decided the ML felt too much like a big bus in stock form.

so have you thought enough about the brakes?
I want to play with my R500, and these brakes would be an awesome retrofit to our minivan...hehehehehe
