ML55 FM Radio Sound Issue
Hi...I have a 2002 ML55 and I recently had to replace both the Altenator and Battery - bad altenator drained/ruined the battery.
Everything was working fine previous to the replacement
Now - everything EXCEPT the FM radio works fine.
FM Radio - to get any sound I have to turn the volume all the way to MAX, and I can just hear it. Basically 90% gone.
I have pulled - fuses - but of course everything else works so it cant be them, the amp works fine - sound is fine from AM/WB and the CD player....dunno about tape as I have never used that![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
ANY HELP APPRECIATED!!!!

2001 ML320....resident of repair city / '05 BMW 645Ci....fun times...
I have to the same issue but only mine is a 01 ML320. I've done some research on the board and came to the conclusion that its the FM module.
Sound clarity is perfect when in AM mode or Tape/cassette. I only listen to MP3s so I'm running ol school with a tape deck kit that I plug into my Zune MP3 player because I can't use the FM transmitter...
Check the ML320/430 forum.... I guess its a common problem... Hope this helps.
