ML63 with keyless go guys, help?!

ML63 with keyless go guys, help?!
So we recently got an 07 ml63 with keyless go. However, compared to my other car, keyless go is slightly different.
For the ML63, when i go to pull the door to unlock, I pull, and have to wait for it to unlock, release and pull again to open the door. Or tap the handle, wait for unlocking then pull the handle to open.
For my other MB's, when I pull, it opens and unlocks, I need not release and repull the handle.
Is this the case for all ML63's?
