I believe I was the first poster on this board with an ML63 in late 2006. After almost 5 years of mostly enjoyable ownership, I've said goodbye to my ML63. It was an amazing vehicle but, with my CPO warranty expiring soon, an $1800 brake job looming, $4 gasoline, and amazing new vehicle tech available from so many builders, Its time to get out. After looking at an MB E550 4Matic and a BMW 550i X, I hate to say it, but, I've been swayed over to the dark side. I was a true Bangle hater when he wrecked BMW styling, but now that they've flushed out the last of his misguided designs, I've ordered an '11 550i X loaded with all the best gadgets. I'll miss the versitility of my ML, but I like the power and tossibility of the BMW sedan along with 24 mpg on the highway. Enjoy your ML's, they're a great blend of power and versitility, and mine served me well for a number of years. Be careful about trade in values as prices on gas guzzeling SUV's are taking a big hit. (I got over 5K less than KBB trade in value) Now, I'll have to change my profile name...

Enjoy the new car, my wife would strangle me if I thought about trading in her ML she loves it.
