Blind spot detection
I am holding off buying a Porsche Cayenne Turbo until the details of the new AMG ML are at least released.
One feature my significant other is emphasizing -- and the Porsche offers it -- is a radar system that detects vehicles in that SUV's blind spots. Does anyone know whether the upcoming ML63/55 will offer a similar capability -- either as a standard feature or an option?

It's called the Blind Spot Detection system and currently it is part of the Driver's Assistance Package. It will be offered on the new line of ML trucks and I'm pretty sure it will not be a standard option but rather part of the Driver's Assistance Package. The other features available with the Driver's Assistance Package is the Distronic Plus Cruise Control system and the Land Departure Warning system.
