2012 ML63 - when can you order? Anyone order yet? Pricing?
Well the missus and I may have agreed on the ML63 as our next truck. She found the G550 too flashy and I found the ML350 too boring, and we agree the ML63 is a logical compromise!
Has anyone ordered a 2012 yet? I read on another site you can order them as of two weeks ago, but they will be delivered in Q1? Am also curious about pricing as the AMG site has the 2011 model up still...

Well an email to my dealer answered the questions...

I have never bought -- let alone 'ordered' -- a new automobile and am very curious about how the ordering process works. I understand you tick of the options list and have to leave a deposit.
But if the dealer doesn't have pricing info yet -- how can you negotiate price? You try to negotiate a set % off of MSRP? Or?
And how would your trade in be valued? (e.g., do they wait to value it upon delivery?)

IMO it's quite risky to leave a deposit on something you have no idea is going to cost once the official price is released.
But if you have a little idea and the means I say go for it.

2010 ZR1 2011 JGC Overland 2013 ML63 on order
I ordered a fully loaded ML63 last week. The pricing for most of the options is available now. However, the base price has not been formally announced.
