2007 mL 63 AMG Battery Light on
I am having a problem with the battery light coming on the truck.
The charging system is working fine, full charge.
Wondering if any Mercedes techs on the forum might know.
Thanks

Sorry to say that all I can add to this thread is that I too am looking at the same issue on a 2009. I've checked out one of these for sale and the battery icon was showing up on the center of the instrument panel... Unfortunately the sales guy was less than knowledgeable and wasn't able to tell me exactly what that meant.
The MB owner's manual for the 09 only states that either the battery is no longer charging (Poly-V belt failure, alternator malfunction, electronic system malfunction), or that the battery is defective. However, I can definitely say the Poly-V belt is not torn, broken or damaged) but I cannot tell which of these other options would be the case simply by looking at the Icon on the message center display.
Johnzaza, you may want to go thru your manual to see if anything there helps you with your issue.
Anyone can shed some light for the fellow forum member and myself?
Thanks in advance,
Andres G

Thanks guys. The dealer where I plan on buying the car worked on the car and told me it was an auxiliary battery that needed replaced.
I am considering this car, but it has rough looking wheels (see other thread) and I am working to get to an agreement on final value considering the work it will take to get the rims back to nice looking condition.
Thanks again for the help with this.
