Beat brand new Porsche cayenne turbo ...

Surprisingly my ML63 held its own against a brand new Porsche cayene turbo.

About half car to 60mph from a 10mph roll, and full car at 80mph.

Mods: Eurocharged V3 tune, AFE prodry filters (carbon filter delete), resonator bypass.

A stock 2012-13 Mercedes ML 63 should beat a stock 2011-13 Porsche Cayene Turbo (non Turbo S) every time.

Car and Driver just completed a test between the two trucks and the stock benz was 2 seconds faster to 130 mph then the Porsche.

Reasons: they both weight the same 5240-80 lbs but the Benz has more torque and more HP stock. The fact that your ML 63 has mods and didn't beat the Porsche by more says to me that your mods are not producing what you think they are.

Mine is 2007 which has ALOT less torque ... Which shows that mods are helping out quite a bit

Next time get the facts straight before you bash blindly

My apology, wasnt trying to bash you, ...I was saying the 2012 ML63 the Turbo in the test. I didnt know you drove the 2007 ML63 (same year as my truck), very impressive speed from a great motor.

07 ML 63 performance chip

Hey folks. I'm new to the group so bear with me. I just purchased what appears to be a very clean, low mileage ML 63. I've been doing a bit of research on performance chips and have run across one called G Force. Wondering if anyone out there has experience with them? Good? Bad? Waste of money? Thanks for your thoughts.

No, get Eurocharged, they are already on ther 3rd version of the tune and it has been refined extensively. They also offer the lowest prices and best customer service from what I have experienced. The mid range torque is insane compared to stock, it actually feels like the turbo ML63 now.

By far the best mod I did to my ML63 was the V3 Eurocharged tune. Resonators bypass a close 2nd

Okay...sorry to bring up an old thread but I'm doing some research and very interested in tunes. Of course the big-names like Renntech and such have crossed my mind but I have heard a ton of good things about Eurocharged. OP, this sounds like just the right balance that I'm looking for and performance seems to be great!

Any cons that anybody can bring up on tuning a NA engine? I'm looking for personal experiences. I have tuned all my Audis (pretty extensively) but never a naturally-aspirated engine so I'm not sure how reliable that is.

These tunes seem to provide +/- 30 Hp but how is the drive-ability and actual butt-dyno gains? I want to squeeze as much power out of the 6.2 without sacrificing day-to-day drive-ability or long term reliability.

Already removed the charcoal filters, resonator delete is next on the list...as well as aFe filters. Heavily weighing towards getting a Eurocharged V3 tune.

What I'm asking I guess...if you guys had to do it again...would you?
