EVO car magazine issue 176 had a nice write up on the new ML63 AMG. This was the issue with the new Mclaren P1 on the cover.

The story was under EVO Car Of The Year Oddballs. The ML63 didn't advance but appeared to blow the testers away with it's ability.

They described the ML63 AMG steering as almost the same refined detail as a C63's.

Some of the quotes from the article:

"The real surprise, I suppose, is that it's an AMG that isn't all about the engine and what it'll do to the rear tyres."

Lol!! I'm in the same boat and guessing same timeframe too! The wait is hard. I have to throw myself into work even more so I don't think about it. :-)

EVOII_Racer: it looks like our ML's are still in the same batch........ as I think we ordered ours in June....... supposed to be delivered Dec......but is now March 2013??? Correct? I was told by my dealer that the delivery time set back is due to not having the Distronic Packages available?

This is interesting... in Switzerland my dealer first said: 'it will arrive towards the end of December'... I questioned them again after I went to a few different dealers who said the wait was 1 year
At the end, I ordered in June and they said the ml63 should arrive between March & June:
I received a letter last month saying my ml will be here towards the end of March btw mine was without the distronic
Lets both keep our fingers crossed so both ours ml make it on time
