Hey Guys,
I'm buying a beautiful 2009 ML63 with about 21k miles. I live in Costa Rica, so by law I have 30 days of FULL COVERAGE on anything that is not right with a used car (specially higher end ones).
I am taking the ML to the MB dealer for a full pre-purchase inspection. I already now the car needs all 4 TPM sensors, probably an oil change, but I would love some direction on what to ask my dealer to look for and possibly replace.
I am targeting:
Suspension
TPMS
Any pumps, sensors, etc that are known to fail after certain mileage or simply because it's almost a 4 year old car?

I don't know if the 09s have this issue but the earlier 06/07 have issues with the transmission valve body and the airmatic system in general is problematic some time down the road.

I just had my 2009 in with 33k miles . I picket it up cheap.
I knit picked the f out of it under warranty. There is an update for the suspension, that requires a better processor. I had sway bar link out, a bushing in the front diff and wheel bearing tech bulletin. They are the best MFG to deal with with tech updates. They will proactively fix known issues.
What is a 2009 with 21k running these days-dollarwise?
