ML55 vs G55? What do you think?

ML55 vs G55? What do you think?
I have a 2001 ML55 AMG that I use as a daily driver. It does well in this function. It has good power. It is easy to get in and out of and is great for errands such as going to the supermarket and picking up the cleaning. This is my "corporate" vehicle. My tax people tell me that should I replace this vehicle with another "truck" of equal to or greater weight by December 31, then I will receive a $40,000 tax allowance. I only have 18,000 miles on the ML55 but think I will trade by the end of the year.
The question is, are there going to be any big changes in the ML55 in 2004? When will we see the "new" engine? What do you guys think about going to the G Wagon (G500 or G55). My concern is that with the greater weight, the G55 might not be as fun to drive as the ML55.
Please give me some opinions.

I am currently driving a ML55 and I love the look and roomy G55.
ML55 is very nice but you had one already. G55 is very solid and I love the driving feel, not as fast as ML but it realy drive firm like a rock plus this truck is best to do Audio systerm. if you are willing to spend that much$$ on a truck, please excuse
I will suggest Porshes Turbo. I test drive it and Sorry Mercedes, you are way too far behind on both Tech, Pwr and driving feel.
That is the best SUV I had ever drive
