Question Battery replacement in '03 ML 500

I've read some posts revealing assorted problems after battery replacement on subject ML, example.... car won't start, windows don't work, doors/locks don't work, radio won't work, etc. Is there a mystery to installing a battery in an ML? Mine is due for replacement.

Thanks,

Thanks,
I have a 2010 ML63 and MB roadside assistance replaced mine under warranty. No different than any other vehicle, excpet that it's under the front passenger seat!. That said, my ML and I believe yours have a separate battery to maintain all critical data, and to be allow the electronic tranny to be shifted out of park if the main battery is dead.

Regards,

Joe

My '03 has only one battery. I'm sure, a different set up than your '10 ML63.

Thanks for the info,

Mark
