Windshield Part Number........
Unfortunately a stone hit my windshield last week instantly causing an 18inch crack. No other damage luckily.
The insurance companies out here are dodgy to say the least, and after I had booked the car in to have the screen replaced they now tell me that they have to keep the car 3 weeks as the windshield is for a ML350 and not a 63. This seems strange as the MB dealer aligned the part against my chassis number.
Question - is it a specific windshield for an ML63? I would assume all W164 screens would be the same (apart from and rain sensor, but isn't this standard on all?)

It depend to your ML63 spec., & Vin #,,
there are "3" #s of the windshield glass:
1) 164 670 01 01
2) 164 670 02 01, with code #: "596"
3) 164 670 04 01, with code #: "691"
which model year you have....??
