So long and good luck.....
So I traded in my 07 ml63 today. My heart is heavy but happy as well. Gone are my fears of having to potentially replace a $60,000 motor off warranty one day. And given my luck with this particular vehicle, I could see it happening.
My advice to any new owners - do as I did and buy the extended warranty - these things are NOT cheap to repair. I can safely say that my $3000 warranty investment saved a good $9000 or so over the two years I owned the vehicle - a pretty good return. Just sad that it was in the shop so often to the point that I lost confidence in its reliability.
I hope I am atypical, and the rest of the forum members have far better luck with these beautiful vehicles.
