2009 ML63 will not downshift automatically any longer in Sport Mode, to first gear.
It is in Sport mode for suspension and Sport for shifting.
If you put it in either, it defaults to 2 nd gear. You can manually downshift and it works fine, but if you cancel, its back to 2nd gear. A
Any suggestions? Did I hit something incorrectly by holding a button or something, changing a setting???

Transmission in comfort mode "C" starts off in 2nd gear. The left "comfort" and "Sport" button is for the suspension setting... totally different. The button that says C>S>M in a circular motion is the transmission button.
