Japanese import '09 ML63 - Aux Cable Issues and Missing Part
Hi all, I just purchased a 2009 ML63 Japanese import. I have already been told that the electrics in the Japanese versions are completely different from all others, and that appears to be true!
I am trying to purchase a 3.5mm audio cable, or iphone cable, so I can play music through the stereo (AUX). The only port I can find in the car is in the middle driver's armrest box as seen here http://imgur.com/ATINSx1 and here http://imgur.com/nWwjwLs
Someone told that isn't even a music port but a phone port... I have no idea. It certainly doesn't match any of the audio interface cables I've found on eBay that are supposedly for my year and model.
There are NO other ports in the car I can see including the glove box.
Anyone got any ideas?
Also, the car is missing this part beneath the rear AC unit - http://imgur.com/FjVTvau - was it cup holders or something?
