Above 30-40km/hr (18-24mph) when I even tap my brakes or press them in the slightest, I hear a brushing or rubbing sound. Only audible with the window down and no screeching/squeaking. It sounds exactly like you'd expect to hear when pads are rubbing on discs.

The sound is louder the faster you are going but does not change in volume the harder you press on the brake pedal.

A mechanic got the car on a hoist and checked them and found nothing. The discs are good.

Anyone got any ideas?
