ML55 trans,transfer case...

ML55 trans,transfer case...
Was the only thing tweaked by AMG the engine or did they perform upgrades to the entire drive train? Were things like the transmission, CV joints and transfer case upgraded? What were they designed to handle? HP and torque levels is what I’m looking for.

The engine was the only thing, The transfer cases are all the same on all M classes and the trans. on all the V8's are the same. Autogunner. P.S. The exhaust,HCU,wheel speed sensors,frame,axles and O2sensors is also different but that is about it for the drive train.

Driver-adaptive electronic 5-speed automatic, AMG-modified for crisper, higher-rpm upshifts, with heavy-duty components and external liquid cooling

The ride height was also reduced .3", and i have read that the shocks are stiffer, although MBUSA doesn't indicate it...
