2007 ML63 amg sometimes runs rough after fueling. Eventually rough running goes away after driving several miles. Any ideas of cause?

Hi There.
If it is anything like what happened to me in my W164, (particularly bad when brimming the tank) then I would check your fuel tank purge valve.
It should be on the right hand side of your engine compartment (as you look from the front) up by the suspension tower.
It is a black cylindrical valve that has two hoses, and an electrical collection on the top of it.
It should be ticking noticeably when you feel it. If it is not, then it has failed.
Not terribly expensive and easy to change.
