Suspension Problem ML63
I have a problem where the suspension lowers and then raises itself again. What happens is a loud hiss, typically when stoped but sometimes when driving too, followed by the car lowering slightly and then raising itself up again. Except when turned off it just hisses and lowers slightly. When left for prolonged periods of time it does not fall lower. I am thinking it may be a valve of some sort that can’t hold full pressure? What do you guys think? Does anyone have the airmatic system diagram?

Try spraying some soapy water on the top of the front shock mounts with the car on and off. If you see bubbles, there is a leak there. Try adjusting the nut with a 10mm wrench. I had new air shocks installed but still had your issue. A slight tweak to the nut solved the problem.
