ML63 2007 - Rear hatch won’t open
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

our auto rear hatch has just stopped opening all of a sudden. It stopped & then occasionally would open but now it’s completely broken.

Could this be a simple case of needing grease? If so, is there a specific type that is Best?

Any other tips or suggestions would be awesome.

2008 E63 wagon (1 of 62)
Time for replacement of the hatch latch.. If you get it to open manually from the inside, there is a good chance it will no longer hold itself shut also.
