2009 ML 350 W164 WHERE IS THE ALARM SIREM LOCATED?
The alarm on this 2009 ML350 has been going off for no reason . I've read that it could be a few things but I don't need the alarm at all . I would like to just disconnect the siren if possible , sounds like it is coming from the right side under/ behind the fender, i tried to remove the tire shield/ well on the right front side but I didn't see anything. Does anyone know where the alarm / siren is located so I can unplug it?

Ok so for anyone who has this problem and doesn't need the alarm ,, very easy. No need to take off tires or splash guards. There's a little black hockey puck looking thing next to the air box with two wires...snip the red one and problem solved, it'll take you less than a minute to do this...literally.
