Replaced Injectors now CE light on and car running BAD
The next day (today) I went to go for a test drive and and the car is running like a pig, blowing heaps of very fuel smelly blue smoke and the Check engine light is coming on then going off and it sounds like its running on 3 cylinders. I don't have access to a scan tool so haven't checked the codes yet but before I either book it into a mechanic or buy an inexpensive scan tool I have a couple of bits of information I would like to know:
1- is it normal to have to clear all engine codes after replacing the injectors?
2- Does it sound like an issue of just clearing engine/fuel faults because it thinks there's a problem at the moment?
3- I've had a good look at my work and I'm confident that I've refitted everything properly, but is there anything that stands out as having need to be checked.
4- Could the MAF have any influence?
I don't know why but I'm scared something found its way into the engine when I was mucking around with the injectors.
I'm about to start hunting for cheap scan tool that will work and be able to clear codes - any suggestions?

when you diagnose the car, which cyl. still misfiring..?,,
and did you check the Elc. current with every injector socket..??

after that, unplug 5 & 6 coils, and see if any difference..!
