ML55 Fuel Pump Discontinued...So, What aftermarket unit is Good?
Hello All,
My ML55 recently developed a slight leak from the fuel pump locking ring seal, since my fuel sender unit has been iffy anyways and the fuel pump housing is likely original. Figured I would replace the whole thing while I was in there...
However, Mercedes discontinued fuel pump housing assemblies it looks like for the w163, so which aftermarket unit do you recommend? Delphi? No Name?
For the time being I ordered a new lock ring.

Ml 55amg fuel pump
Hi I had problems with my ml 55amg fuel pump back in February as you have probably already found out you cannot get this pump anymore the one for the 55amg is totally different from the rest of the range I ended up taking mine into a Mercedes specialist in Bristol called D & B auto run by Craig and his wife, after a lot of searching he found a replacement pump and changed it over with the original one which was playing up, now working perfectly.

You can use the Delphi unit RockAuto carries, from looking online others have used this one with success. However, in my case the only part that was bad was the rubber seal for the lock ring so I opted just to change that out and clean everything up while I was in there. Won't be hard to change the fuel pump, should I have to down the road, since I've seen how it is all put together now. Not the greatest design for filter placement by Mercedes honestly, a bit ridiculous how tight it is to get to everything. Videos on my channel covering the process should anyone need
