Hi, I am missing the two cargo floor plate covers (parts 163-920-08-86 and 163-920-07-86) on my 2004 ML 350. I can order new anthracite ones for around $465 (OMG!). But what I am curious of is whether or not the carpet is attached to the plastic plates with glue or some other method. I may just buy the wrong color plates for a lot cheaper and take the carpet off so they are just black plastic. Any thoughts or experience with this? Thanks!!
